Micro Needling

Popularly known as "vampire facials", micro needling is a form of collagen induction therapy (CIT) that involves repeatedly micro-puncturing of the skin with tiny, sterile needles that draw blood and stimulate new collagen production, which results in skin tightening and firming, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentations, acne scars and uneven skin tones. Micro needling can be used with PRP injections to stimulate hair growth on the scalp, as well. A prescription-strength topical anesthetic solution is applied prior to treatment to alleviate discomfort during the micro needling procedure.

TIXEL

A non-ablative fractional skin rejuvenation system similar to micro needling, but instead using radiation-free, direct heat with a sterile titanium tip to stimulate healing and new collagen production. The depth of treatment can be increased to achieve specific esthetic results. This procedure can be used safely on the face, eyelids, neck and decollete with minimal discomfort using prescription-strength topical anesthetic prior to treatment. Quick healing and no bleeding, with 0-2 days down-time is typical.

Threading

An alternative to the more invasive surgical facelift, a thread lift is the use of temporary, slowly resorbable sutures inserted under the skin to produce a subtle, but visible "lift" in the skin. This procedure is recommended for patients with mild-moderate loosening of the skin from aging. Threading is accomplished with local anesthetic, is minimally invasive and has little to zero down-time following the procedure. Results typically last 1-3 years, depending on the type of threads used. Collagen infusion occurs around the threads, resulting in thickening and hydrating of the skin which decreases and prevents further loosening of the skin.
